Most of our beginner surf lessons are done at the beautiful resort of Alma del Pacifico located in nearby Esterillos Este. We choose this location due to the "bathymetry" or flatness of the way the sand drops off, resulting in nice long feathering waves. Perfect for beginners. All sand. No rocks.
Lessons are $70 per person for 1.5 hours including the board. We strive for a 2 or 2.5 student to instructor ratio, allowing for plenty of personal attention. Ages range from 7 to 77. Let us know if you have little people so we can hire more 1 to 1 instructors.
You are welcome to bring family members to watch, and afterward enjoy a nice lunch/dinner at the restaurant (try the fish tacos!).
